Hello again, my name is Jacob! Like a lot of professionals, I decided to switch from a normal, comfortable career to more exciting freelance work back in 2020. Before that I started this career in an after school program, learning to draw with pencil and vellum in tandem with AutoCAD Release 13. Some of the first designs I made were subwoofer boxes for my friends! Being from a small town in Michigan, job opportunities were scarce, so I took what I could, learning about each discipline, about each business. Understanding how they operated, what could be improved and how to implement those changes. Now living in western Washington with my family, I work with teams all around the Puget Sound region and beyond. Jake Draws For You was started in order to give myself more flexibility for my clients, whether they wish to bring me on as an employee (W2), freelancer (1099), or B2B.
